This is a rechargeable 8.4 V NiMH battery pack with a capacity of 700 mAh. The pack contains seven cells in two rows.

Long Description: 

Our assortment of rechargeable NiMH battery packs give you variety of options for powering your robot or electronics project. The battery packs use 1.2 V cells whose heights correspond to their capacities. The full-sized cells are the size of standard AAA batteries and provide 700 mAh while the 2/3rd-sized cells provide 350 mAh and the tiny 1/3rd-sized cells provide 150 mAh. These packs are well-suited for powering small robots.

The smaller battery packs are great power sources for miniature robots, such as those that might be based on ourBaby Orangutan robot controller.

Connectors



These battery packs come with 3" leads terminated by keyed, XH-style 2.5mm-pitch (0.1") two-pin female connectors as shown to the right. These match our 2-pin shrouded male connectors, which come in three varieties: straightright angle, and right angle extended. These disconnectable crimp-style connectors snap together securely. The battery pack connectors can also plug directly into standard 0.1" male header pins.


Note: The battery voltages listed in the product descriptions are based on the 1.2 V nominal voltage of the NiMH cells from which the packs are made. The actual voltage will depend on how charged the batteries are. A fully charged cell will deliver almost 1.5 V, so, for example, a ā€œ6Vā€, 5-cell pack can measure over 7 volts after being charged. You will need to charge these battery packs before you first use them.
